The first edition of RootedCON took place in 2010. Since that edition, the congress has been held in other locations within Madrid, as well as multiple editions in Valencia and Hong Kong.

Hundreds of speakers have given talks and have been part of high-level training activities (RootedLabs and Bootcamps), which have already enjoyed thousands of attendees over the past eight years.
